Who We Are

At Green Companion Initiative, our work is rooted in environmental sustainability, while also addressing critical social challenges to foster a better future. We integrate STEM education and period poverty eradication into our mission because we believe that through combating period poverty, we create a world where accessibility to education is equal for both girls and boys in our community. By empowering young people with STEM skills, we equip them to drive environmental change and tackle the issues that affect their futures. Our registered office in Uganda keeps us deeply connected to local realities, while our vision remains global in scope.

Mission

Our mission at Green Companion Initiative is to champion environmental protection, advocate for legal reform, and empower communities to safeguard their natural resources. Additionally, we focus on STEM education and the eradication of period poverty, particularly in orphanages where we are direct partners. Through grassroots mobilization, strategic litigation, and policy advocacy, we aim to strengthen Uganda's environmental laws while promoting justice, equity, and sustainability in all areas of life.

Vision

Our legacy will be one of environmental stewardship, educational equity, and global collaboration for lasting change.
